What Does a Physical Therapist Assistant Do?
As a physical therapy assistant, each day brings new opportunities to make a real difference in patients’ lives. You’ll work side by side with licensed physical therapists, helping patients regain movement, manage pain and rebuild strength through personalized treatment plans.
From guiding patients through therapeutic exercises to documenting their progress and making on-the-spot adjustments based on how they're responding, you’re a vital part of the care team. Depending on your state’s regulations, you might even assist in developing treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
If you’re passionate about hands-on health care and want a rewarding career that blends science, compassion and movement, training to become a PTA could be the perfect path for you.
