Faculty are reviewed in the spring of each academic year by their supervisor, generally the department head. The reviews are evaluated by the Dean of the College and delivered to the Office of the Provost by April 15, 2024

Tenure-Track Faculty

Please review the 2017 Faculty Handbook for specific information on the review process for tenure-track faculty.  The review time period is the previous calendar year.  Department Heads and Deans will use the information entered in Activity Insight to evaluate faculty members.  Please see the Guide to Entering Annual Activities into AI/FS & Submitting to the Annual Review Process through Workflow for data entry and submission guidance. Note the process for a faculty response to a disagreement about an annual review or rating and accommodate the appeal process in the review timeframe. The deadline for initial faculty submission to their Department Head/School Director is January 22, 2024.

Non Tenure-Track Faculty

Please review NTT CBA Section 8.09 for specific information on the review process for non-tenure-track faculty.  The review time period is the previous calendar year.  All NTT faculty in the bargaining unit who have contracted for at least 7.5 workload units (0.5 FTE) in any semester in the calendar year for which they are being reviewed and who are employed during the time of the annual review, or who are employed on multiyear contracts will be evaluated annually. All NTT faculty who are reviewed will receive a written evaluation.  Department Heads and Deans will use the information entered in Activity Insight/Faculty Success to evaluate tenure-track and non tenure-track faculty members.
