This award will recognize one faculty member committed to the MSU land-grant mission of outreach and engagement.  The award selections shall recognize especially significant outreach achievements, collaborations engaging with external constituents, and/or an established body of outreach/engagement related scholarship work. Nominations should recognize efforts that go above and beyond the scope of the nominee’s position at MSU. 


All full-time tenure track, non-tenure track, Extension and research faculty are eligible to be recognized.

Nomination Materials Required

Faculty, administrators, staff and others who are knowledgeable about the individual’s involvement with outreach and engagement are invited to submit nominations online. Please provide the nominee’s name, department, and a brief statement (300 words or less) as to why you feel your nominee should receive this award. Individuals who are nominated for this award will be contacted by the review committee for additional information.
