University Information Technology offers the following file storage options for MSU users for storing MSU Owned data.

Keep MSU's data secure:
See the Data Stewardship Standards and the Data Storage Security Grid to ensure your data is stored in an appropriate location.

Research Data:

If your Research Data has compliance requirements, please contact contact  [email protected]

Storage of research data that does not have compliance requirements may be stored on an appropriately managed, locally hosted, server. The server must be entered into the Server Inventory System (https://www.montana.edu/serverinventory), and have a Qualys agent installed on it for vulnerability management.
