Montana Livestock Prices (Futures & Cash)
This file contains monthly average futures prices for feeder and fat cattle and monthly averages cash prices for the Billings livestock auctions for steers and heifers for weight classes from 400 to 500, 500 to 600, 600 to 700, and for steers only in the 700 to 800 pound range. The futures and cash prices are used to calculate monthly and yearly average basis values for each weight class. Cash price and basis value are graphed for each weight class by month.
