Read & Write  is a powerful set of reading and writing assistance tools for people with learning disabilities. Read & Write  can be downloaded onto personal devices through the UIT website. 

For students receiving alternative textbooks, this software has excellent reading features and the ability to do optical character recognition on documents which are image files. Read & Write  has the ability to read from Word documents, the PDF Reader and browsers. Unfortunately, Read & Write  does not have the ability read math. 

Students using Read & Write while taking exams in Testing Services will be using version 12. Students need to be familiar with how to adjust their reading options in version 12 when taking an exam in Testing Services.
