Established in 2005, the Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program brings outstanding secondary teachers from all over the world to experience secondary education in the United States. FTEA Fellows should be prepared for an extraordinary and intensive professional development program where they will attend university courses, partner teach in the Bozeman Public School system, and visit one of the most beautiful areas of the country.

More information on the FTEA program can be found on the IREX website

MSU’s College of Education, Health & Human Development will provide the academic foundation for the FTEA program.   The FTEA Fellows will have the opportunity to spend over 40 hours in a secondary level classroom within the Bozeman School District.  This internship will provide first hand teaching experience alongside an American Partner Teacher.  It is our hope that the partnerships and internship experiences will result in improved teaching methods and practices for everyone involved.  We look forward to welcoming all of the FTEA Fellows to beautiful Bozeman, Montana!
