  4. Information item: Annual Diversity Report

    Ariel asked for volunteers to create a small working group to help with drafting this year’s Diversity Report, including providing feedback on the design and helping with selecting and writing content. Nika, Marianne, and Sara volunteered. One ASMSU student was mentioned who might be interested. This work will be done throughout the month of April.

  5. Discussion: Recent threats and speech impacting campus

    Discussion of timeline of events since February 16th threat to QSA. Teach-in hosted by ASMSU is taking place this Friday, March 24th at 4 pm. Speakers will present from 4-7 pm and then a Matthew Shepard film will be screened. Discussion topics included sharing of painful student experiences; personal identity vs. political ideology; how units can show support; efforts to support impacts students by Faculty Senate, ASMSU, and All Staff Council.

  6. Follow-up: Strategic diversity planning

    Ariel will follow up with a way to share the primary outcomes of your conversations with folks about the Diversity and Inclusion Framework. We want to continue revisiting and updating the framework, informed by the feedback you received over the past month.

  7. Public comment

    ASMSU elections cycle is underway and they are currently accepting senator applications!
