Team Nutrition

Learn how a local school wellness policy can fuel students to learn and behave better and supportstaff in creating healthy school environments.

Event Update (3/16/2020): Given current health concerns and uncertainty around coronavirus, we have decided to postpone this School Wellness Regional Workshop. For those currently registered, we will inform you when a new date has been determined and provide you an opportunity to remain registered or release your spot.  In light of the current concerns, we have also decided to change the format of this workshop to a webinar. We will continue to monitor the situation and will post updates as available. We thank you for your understanding.

WHAT: This FREE webinar will review the benefits of a strong wellness policy, USDA requirements for the school wellness policy, and showcase best practices, and assessment and outreach tools. The webinar will include inspiring presentations, roundtable discussions, review of resources, networking and goal setting activities. We recommend bringing a team (2-3) people from your school community, such as an administrator, food service director, educator, health professional, parent or community member.
