Counseling & Psychological Services

CPS has many free and confidential services available to assist students during their time at MSU.  Services include: brief individual counseling, group counseling, brief couples counseling, consultation, self-help resources, crisis intervention, assistance with community referrals, and seminars and presentations on mental health topics.

The MSU Voice Center

The MSU VOICE Center provides free and confidential services and information for all people impacted by sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, and harassment; including friends, family, and loved ones of survivors. Advocates are available 24-hours a day to provide confidential support, information, and discuss different options.

College of Letters & Science Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Access

As the largest center for education and research at MSU, it is understood that diversity is our strength. Students are invited to join the university in it's commitment to celebrating, cultivating and supporting diversity.

 

Allen Yarnell Center for Student Success

The Allen Yarnell Center for Student Success seeks to support and advantage students through personalized advising, tutoring and coaching. The Center aids students to generate and maintain confidence and motivation to learn and engage and to ensure Bobcats receive the full benefit of the MSU experience - both inside and outside of the classroom - during their college years and beyond.

Modern Language Association (MLA)

Founded in 1883, the Modern Language Association (MLA) is a leading academic professional organization in the US that promotes scholarship of languages and literature.  MLA refers to the style recommended for preparing scholarly manuscripts and student research papers. It concerns itself with the mechanics of writing, such as punctuation, quotation, and especially, documentation of sources.

Montana University System Compliance Hotline

As part of the Montana University System (MUS), Montana State University offers a compliance hotline available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week fo employees, students and the public to anonymously report suspected non-compliance or other concerns.

MSU Writing Center

The Writing Center supports students as they develop written communication skills along with providing one-on-one tutoring, resources for writing, writing group facilitation, and workshop facilitation that complement and support students' classroom instruction.

MSU Math and Stat Center (MSC)

MSC is a drop-in tutoring center for students in eligible courses and assists students to obtain the necessary study skills to communicate course material effectively and take responsibility for their own learning.

Navigating Suspension

Information for students close to suspension status, currently suspended, seeking to appeal suspension, or looking to return to MSU after a suspension.

Navigating Academic Misconduct

Information for students regarding issues of cheating, plagiarism, forgerty, falsification, facilitation or aiding academic dishonesty, etc.
