HMED 340: Intro to Dentistry
PREREQUISITE: CHMY 141 and CHMY 143, and BIOB 260; GPA >3.0 or consent of instructor. This course is ideal for students who want to confirm an interest in a career in dentistry. An overview of tooth anatomy, development and vocabulary will position students to better understand the various specialties presented at the clinics of community dentists. This is a spring only course.
This class will meet on-campus for the first week and all other weeks will meet in the community at local clinics.
This course has been put on hold due to limited office staffing and resources. If staff increases, we may be able to resume hosting this course in the future.
