High Density Bicycle Parking

MSU is proud to have attractive, high density bicycle parking available across campus.  Peak Racks, from San Luis Obispo, CA, are American made and constructed out of 95% recycled and scrap metal.  Specifically designed for space efficiency, the racks have nearly doubled campus' bike parking capacity.

Peak racks are:

  • galvanized for minimal maintenance.
  • space efficient.  The vertical height of each bike is staggered, which allows the handlebars to overlap without tangling.
  • designed to support the front wheel in 3 spots without touching the bike frame.  This keeps the bike from getting banged up as well as protects the wheel from deforming in any way.
  • designed with a locking bar that allows the user to lock the bike wheel and frame together with a single lock.

Other Bike Amenities

Bobcat Bike Check

The Office of Sustainability provides free Bike Valet service at the home Bobcat Football Games! That means if you ride to the game, we’ll keep your bike safe for the entirety of the event.  All you need to do is grab a raffle ticket and write down your phone number (in case you lose your ticket) and you are good to go.

Look for our booth and the Bobcat Bike Check banner in the practice fields on the north side of Kagy Boulevard, across from Bobcat Stadium. The booth opens 3 hours before kickoff and closes 1 hour after the game ends.  An Office of Sustainability staff member will be with the bikes at all times.  The Bobcat Bike Check is available at all home games until Bozeman’s first snow.
