Micro malting is our standard scale. The ability to malt and test malt quality in house more than quadruples the data our breeding program has for making malt quality selections each year. This ensures we are able to develop lines of the highest quality for all those in the barley value chain, farmer  maltster  brewer/distiller  consumer. Added benefits to malting in house is that we are able to more quickly turnaround data for planting decisions and hands on knowledge gives us a much more intimate understanding of the process!
