Paul Andersen’s videos are a huge hit on YouTube. Paul, a Bozeman High School biology teacher and Montana’s 2011 teacher of the year, creates 10-minute videos for his science students, explaining concepts like photosynthesis, how cells work and evolution. These videos are then posted on his “Bozeman Biology” YouTube channel and have been viewed by more than 5 million fans, nationally as well as internationally (such as Germany, Kuwait and India).

"Yenny honored as one of top three teachers in Montana!"

Bozeman middle school teacher, LeAnne Yenny, was honored at the Montana Educators Association Conference (MEA) October 18th as one of the best teachers in Montana. Yenny is one of the top three finalists for this year’s Montana teacher of the year award.

Two years ago Yenny, as one of Montana’s best math teachers, was among 103 finalists for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. She won a trip to the White House, got to meet the president and received a $10,000 National Science Foundation award.

LeAnne is taking a leave of absence this year to teach at Montana State University. She is teaching a math education methods course for the Department of Mathematics.
