An Introduction

In this "Understanding MSU Technology" section, you will hear about some of MSU's most often used technology platforms. These videos are provided for information's sake; you do not need to log in to any of these platforms.

MyInfo

MyInfo allows student access to personal information such as transcripts, class schedules, grades, financial aid packages, and pay stubs.

Brightspace by D2L

Brightspace by D2L, commonly referred to as D2L, is the online learning management system for classes at Montana State University. Students can see their courses in D2L after they have registered for the courses and their instructor activates the course at the beginning of the semester.

DegreeWorks

DegreeWorks is designed to help students and academic advisors monitor progress toward degree completion. Students can check degree progress, plan for upcoming semesters, and even see how their courses might apply to a new major if they decide to change majors or add a minor.

It also allows for advising notes and provides a place to create semester plans. DegreeWorks provides an accessible, convenient, and organized way for students to monitor their academic standing and track their progress toward earning a degree.
