The College of Business Hosts Entrepreneur Day

As part of the on-going educational service to enhance entrepreneurial spirit and education, the Montana State University College of Business will host an Entrepreneur Day on Wed., February 23, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the MSU Student Union Building room 275. The day is funded in-part by a grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The sessions are set-up to provide entrepreneurs, students and those considering marketing a product or service, informative sessions that will explore the role of entrepreneurs in Montana, discuss student activities and the review the minor offered in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management.

The morning will feature three sessions offering information and details on how an individual can obtain the 30 credit-hour minor in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management. There is no cost to attend these sessions, which will be held at 9, 10 and 11 a.m. in the SUB room 275. Students and interested persons attending the session will receive a free meal voucher for the lunch and afternoon panel discussion.

At noon, Andrew Field of printingforless.com will be the featured keynote speaker. His presentation will highlight information and insight to the world of entrepreneurship and those involved in pursuing developing and marketing a new business venture. During lunch, seating will be set to mix students, budding entrepreneurs and established entrepreneurs so the discussions will be lively and interactive. Reservations are required for the lunch.

Immediately following the lunch there will be a panel discussion featuring local successful entrepreneurs and service representatives exploring issues and product development. Once again, there is no charge to attend the panel discussion, but reservations are requested to assist in room layout.
