Ryan Partnership Executive to Give Free Lecture
Mary Perry, President of the Promotion Agency division of Ryan
Partnership, will present "Blending Generations in the
Workforce," Tuesday, November 13 at 4:10 pm in Roberts Hall #101,
as the David Orser Executive Speakers Forum guest presenter at
the MSU College of Business. Business owners, members of the
community and MSU students and faculty are invited to attend and
participate in a Q&A session following the lecture.
Businesses are recognizing more and more a generation gap between
the 20-something and 40- and 50-something employees. Differences
in attitudes, values, work ethics and even vocabulary can
contribute to misunderstandings and generational clashes, which
can lead to unproductive and unhappy work environments. Perry
will explore ways to manage and blend generational differences in
the workforce in order to improve understanding between
generations and help foster creativity and innovation.
Perry has over 25 years of experience in business and worked with
Nestle brand promotions and financial institutions before she
joined Ryan Partnership in 1990. Ryan Partnership, recently named
"Agency of the Year" by PROMO magazine, is the leading
independent marketing agency in the United States. As the
President of the Promotion Agency, Perry is supported by six
divisions spread over twelve offices with more than 500 employees
who cater to iconic brands such as Dove, Heineken, Nestle, New
Balance, Advil, and Energizer.
