Financial Matters

Representatives from the Offices of Financial Aid, Financial Education and Student Accounts will cover the important financial information you and your students need to know regarding fees, bill payment/confirmation, scholarships and more.
-Shannon Bangen, Director of Orientation

Financial Aid

The Financial Aid Office at MSU is happy to help students and families understand what resources are available to help make their education affordable and how to understand the ins-and-outs of financial aid. You may access the Financial Aid webpage here: www.montana.edu/financialaid/

Financial Education Office

The Office of Financial Education is housed in the Allen Yarnell Center for Student Success and is designed to help students and families understand all things financial. Students may explore the Financial Education website and schedule an appointment with a Financial Coach at: www.montana.edu/aycss/financialedu/

How Your Student Confirms Their Bill

All students must confirm their bill (pay fees) with the Student Accounts Office by the fee payment deadline.  All students must take some kind of action to be confirmed by the 15th day of classes each semester to avoid possible cancellation of classes and an additional $40 late fee. Please note that students are still required to confirm their bill, even if it is entirely covered through other funding sources.
