The amazing faculty at Montana’s Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCU) are not only committed to educating their students, but they are also conducting scholarship key to their community and engaging Tribal College students in novel research.

In a new partnership, Montana State University (MSU) is providing tuition waivers to TCU faculty who are working towards completing their masters or doctorate at MSU. The scholarship the faculty complete counts towards their tenure and promotion and their or dissertation research.

The first faculty scholars in this program are.

Rennie Winkelman , a faculty member in the Life Sciences Department at Salish Kootenai College. She is doing her PhD at MSU in Ecology and Environmental Science.

Kyle Roessler a faculty member in the Life Sciences Department at Salish Kootenai College. He is doing his PhD at MSU in Microbiology.

Eva Flying, President of Chief Dull Knife College. She is doing her PhD at MSU in Education Leadership
