The Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Development and the Institute of Ecosystems will host Thomas Armstrong, Executive Director, U.S. Global Change Research Program, White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Dr. Armstrong will present "The U.S. Global Change Research Program and the President's Climate Action Plan: Taking science to action..." at noon, November 5 in the Procrastinator Theater. ADVANCE Project TRACS will be distributing a Campus Climate Survey beginning Nov. 3 for all faculty. The survey will provide information on the participation of women in STEM fields.   View

The Extreme History Project will lead a caravan to Helena to celebrate the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage in Montana at the Capitol Rotunda. The caravan will leave from the Museum of the Rockies at 10 a.m., returning at 3:30 p.m. The celebration in Helena will begin at 12 p.m.   View
