For a fifth straight year, Montana State University recorded an all-time high for funding, mostly from competitive federal grants, for scientific discovery and other scholastic pursuits.
Roughly 250 incoming first-year students at MSU have been selected to be the inaugural class of the Justin Smith Morrill Scholars Program, an initiative aimed at keeping students in school and on track for graduation.
Montana State University’s fall student enrollment is the largest in its 130-year history, with 16,978 students pursuing the many benefits of higher education at the state’s largest university.
