Bobcat Stadium BobcatStadium 1, BobcatStadium 2

Bobcat Stadium is the premiere sports facility for the campus. It has a seating capacity of 17,777 people, but has seen attendance upwards of 20,000. Based on sheer attendance numbers, and the poor understanding in the existing E-911 maps of lots and areas surrounding the stadium, we saw a need for more a detailed map. The specific features it lacked include hydrants, tailgate sections, lot entrances, and emergency staging points. We also collected data points for trash cans, porta-potties, and man-holes for MSU Facilities. These maps and data will be used in the field by fire fighters and other emergency personnel to shorten response times to the stadium, as well as by our MSU and City collaborators.
